What is Women Build?
The Habitat Horry Women Build program recruits, educates, and encourages women to build and advocate for decent and affordable houses in our community!
Join hands with hundreds of women across the Grand Strand to fully fund, fully build a home for a local woman and her children! Get to know the Family HERE.
How does it work?
Women volunteers from all walks of life work together to raise the funds and raise the walls for the entire Women Build project. This year, through sponsorships and fundraising, we will work together to raise $100,000. We will also recruit and encourage all of our female volunteers to get out on the build site and put some female power into this home!
New this year - Every dollar raised is being match up to $20,000 by this year’s presenting sponsor – CRG Companies!
Timeframe of the Women Build Project:
We will kick off Women Build 2023 on May 22nd from 5-7pm during an exclusive shopping experience at our ReStore.
Women Build 2023 will occur May 22nd-27th 2023.
